seriously enough to spend time and effort promoting the arts in detroit and the surrounding area.
our goal is to bring the web to artists so artists can get exposure that is needed and deserved. we all know how hard the performing or creative life can be, detroitartists.net pland to make it a little easier by providing free websites to creatives and allowing them to do what they do best.....create.
without having to worry about a website, or hosting, or even paying for it. which is good,
because we all know being a creative means you are fundamentally frugal. well, cheap. ok, more than stingy. ben franklin
and that ‘penny saved is a penny earned’ thing got nothing on creatives, whether picking up the tab for lunch, or paying cashmolene for a website and it’s care and feeding. 
that’s good, because this is a free service.

literary guild and writers open mic nights give writers at every stage of development the chance to show their wares in an open, non-judgemental atmosphere.

includes painting and sculpture, along with film and photography. get involved in our ‘draw ins’ around the city and see/create new work. then have an opening! we’re there for you.
